3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A PRODUCT AND SERVICE CONTRACT WITH INSIGHT PUBLIC
5 SECTOR SLED CENTER, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO
6 HUNDRED FIFTEEN THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY-THREE
7 AND 75/100 DOLLARS ($215,793.75), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND
8 FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF SEVENTY-FIVE (75) FALCON
9 CAMERAS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT REAL
10 TIME CRIME CENTER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department(LRPD)recommends the approval of the seventy-five
13 (75)additional Falcon LPR Cameras,to include seventy(70)fixed cameras and five(5)tactical deployment
14 cameras that can be rapidly deployed to deal with emerging incidents or special events; and,
15 WHEREAS, LRPD has had access to several Flock Safety Falcon Cameras and the associated
16 back-end software,and the Falcon LPR cameras exceeded expectations and suit the needs of the Real Time
17 Crime Center; and,
18 WHEREAS,the cameras are extremely useful to identify specific suspect vehicles involved in criminal
19 activity; and,
20 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made through utilization of the OM1NA Partners Contract No.
21 4400006644;and,
22 WHEREAS, the total cost for the contract shall not exceed Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand, Seven
23 Hundred Ninety-Three and 75/100 Dollars($215,793.75), plus applicable taxes and fees.
24 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
25 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
26 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a Product and Service Contract with Insight
27 Public Sector Sled Center for the purchase, installation and service of seventy-five(75)additional Falcon
28 LPR Cameras,to include seventy(70)fixed cameras and five(5)tactical deployment cameras in the amount
29 not to exceed Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand, Seven Hundred Ninety-Three and 75/100 Dollars
30 ($215,793.75),plus applicable taxes and fees.
31 Section 2. Funds for this expenditure are available through American Rescue Act funds set aside for
32 the Real Time Crime Center, Account No. 271529-G0222AR52A.
33 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
34 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or

1 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
2 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
3 resolution.
4 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
5 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
