3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO AN AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE AGGREGATE IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($200,000.00),FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT SOLID WASTE
7 SERVICES DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division utilizes aggregate to build roads to
10 allow ingress and egress to the landfill cells; and,
11 AS, the Public Works Department will utilize the lowest cost vendor in the Arkansas Department of
12 Transportation(ArDOT)Aggregate Purchasing Contract,ArDOT Bid Contract No. H-23-228R.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to purchase aggregate utilizing
16 the ArDOT Aggregate Purchasing Contract for the Public Works Department Solid Waste Services
17 Division in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Thousand Dollars($200,000.00)for a period of one(1)-
18 year,to be utilized for building roads within the Landfill to allow ingress and egress to the Landfill cells.
19 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in Account: Solid Waste Enterprise Fund No. No.
20 603120-61020.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
27 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
