3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH RUSH TRUCK CENTERS OF ARKANSAS,IN
5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE
6 THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY-EIGHT DOLLARS
7 ($373,788.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE
8 PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 2024 INTERNATIONAL MODEL HV513
9 CHASSIS TRUCKS WITH DUMP BEDS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
10 DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER
11 PURPOSES.

13 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department Street Operations Division has demonstrated a need to
14 purchase two(2)2024 International Model HV513 Chassis Trucks with Dump Beds to replace aged, high
15 maintenance units currently in the City's fleet; and,
16 WHEREAS, vendor selection for two (2) 2024 International Model HV513 Chassis Trucks with
17 Dump Beds, meeting the specifications needed,was made through the Arkansas State Contract No. H-23-
18 240; and,
19 WHEREAS, the total purchase price for two (2) 2024 International Model HV513 Chassis Trucks
20 with Dump Beds shall not to exceed Three Hundred Seventy-Three Thousand,Seven Hundred Eighty-Eight
21 Dollars($373,788.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
22 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
23 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
24 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Rush Truck Centers of
25 Arkansas, for the purchase of two (2) 2024 International Model HV513 Chassis Trucks with Dump Beds
26 in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Seventy-Three Thousand, Seven Hundred Eighty-Eight Dollars
27 ($373,788.00),plus applicable taxes and fees,to be used by the Public Works Department Street Operations
28 Division.
29 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Public Works Special Projects Account No.
30 205409-72300-S408646.
31 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
32 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
33 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and

1 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
4 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
