STAFF ANALYSIS:
This rezoning action is a follow-up to the Planning
Commission's approval of the preliminary plat for a two -lot
subdivision at West 24th and Walker Streets. The Commission
requested the owner to rezone the property to "R-2" for
single family use. The plat provided the necessary
right-of-way and there are no outstanding issues. The
property is currently occupied by two single-family
structures.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the request as filed.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
The applicant was not present. There were no objectors
present. After a brief discussion, a motion was made -to
recommend approval of the request as filed. The motion
passed by a vote of 9 ayes, 0 noes and 2 absent.
