agency concerning this request. This does not reflect the
best of circumstances in land use planning, but it appears
that previous decisions have limited the zoning options
available. This pocket, being zoned "C-3" north and east
and surrounded on the south and west by the Livestock Show
and Fairgrounds, is cast into future commercial use.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
The applicant was present. There were no objectors. After
a brief discussion, the Commission moved to approve the
application as filed. The motion passed - 10 ayes, 0 noes
and 1 absent.
