The applicant owns the business located on this property and is seeking zoning compatibility with the use. The business buildings were destroyed by the December tornadoes, but the City permitted reconstruction without zoning because of the freak nature of the destruction. The applicant learned of the nonconformity, however, during this process. The Suburban Development Plan shows this area for commercial use. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval. PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: The applicant was present, and there were no objectors. After a brief discussion, the Commission moved to approve the application as filed. The motion passed - 10 ayes, 0 noes and 1 absent.
