Present Use of Property: Lumber Yard Proposed Use of Property: Same STAFF RECOMMENDATION: This request is to permit an addition of storage space to an existing building as shown on the graphic. It will be an open storage building similar to many of the existing facilities. Staff sees no objectionable relationships with other properties and feels that reasonable hardship does exist in that previously the industrial districts did not require any yard setbacks at all. Staff recommends approval. BOARD ACTION: The applicant was present, and there were no objectors. After a brief discussion, the Board moved to approve the application as filed, with the provision that the applicant proceed with attempting to close the portion of the Monroe Street right-of-way into which his existing building encroaches. The motion passed: 5 ayes, 0 noes and 2 absent.
