PRIOR TO CLEARING, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURES AND DEVICES AND TREE PRESERVATION FENCING. 2. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE CONFINED TO THE LIMITS OF CONSTRUCTION SHOWN UNLESS OTHER PROVISIONS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH THE OWNER. 3. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING ALL EXISTING SITE CONDITIONS DISTURBED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES BACK TO EXISTING OR BETTER CONDITIONS. 4. ALL AREAS WITHIN THE PAVED AREAS ARE TO RECEIVE A GRAVEL BASE TO PROVIDE EROSION CONTROL IF WORK IS NOT PROGRESSING IN AN ORDERLY MANNER. A RATE OF 135 TONS/ACRE IS TO BE APPLIED WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF FINAL GRADING. 7. ALL AREAS NOT WITHIN THE PAVED AREAS ARE TO RECEIVE LOOSE STRAW TO PROVIDE EROSION CONTROL IF WORK IS NOT PROGRESSING IN AN ORDERLY MANNER. A RATE OF 1.5 TONS/ACRE IS TO BE APPLIED WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF FINAL GRADING, 8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT SAW CUT EDGE OF ASPHALT FROM RAVELING DURING CONSTRUCTION. WHERE RAVELING OCCURS PRIOR TO NEW PAVEMENT BEING PLACED THE CONTRACTOR MAY BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SAW CUT, AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE, TO PROVIDE A CLEAN EDGE FOR PAVING OR OTHER IMPROVEMENTS. 9. PARKING SPACE STRIPING SHALL BE 4" WIDE, WHITE NON -REFLECTIVE TRAFFIC PAINT. ZONE STRIPING SHALL BE @ 2' CENTERS AND AT 45° TO LINE OF TRAFFIC. 10. DIMENSIONS TO CURBS ARE TO BACK OF CURB. DIMENSIONS TO BUILDINGS ARE TO OUTSIDE FACE OF BUILDING WALL. 11. MINIMUM CURB RADIUS SHALL BE 2'. 12. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL LAYOUT AND VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION, ANY DISCREPANCIES SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ENGINEER FOR DIRECTION AND RESOLUTION PRIOR TO PROCEEDING. 13. PROVIDE EXPANSION JOINTS IN ALL CASES WHERE CONCRETE FLATWORK MEETS VERTICAL STRUCTURES OR WHERE NEW CONCRETE FLATWORK ABUTS EXISTING CONCRETE PAVING. 14. RESTORATION AND CLEANUP SHALL BE COMPLETE PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE OF THE JOB. 15. SEE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. 16. CONTRACTORS ARE TO USE THE LIMITS OF CONSTRUCTION FOR ANY STAGING AND LAY DOWN AREA REQUIRED FOR THE PROJECT. 17. ALL WORK DONE IN PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE GOVERNING AUTHORITY. 18. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY STREET SIGNS OR SIGNS IN RIGHT-OF-WAY THAT WERE REMOVED DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL REPLACE/REINSTALL AS SOON AS PRACTICAL. TEMPORARY SIGNS SHALL BE INSTALLED DURING CONSTRUCTION. 19. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RELOCATE EXISTNG STREET SIGNS THAT ARE OBSCURED BY NEWLY PLACED LANDSCAPING. COORDINATE WITH AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION (AHJ) SHOULD QUESTIONS ABOUT RELOCATIONS ARISE. 20.
