Present Use of Property: Shopping Center Proposed Use of Property: Same STAFF RECOMMENDATION: The proposed clock tower is connected with an overall facade renovation proposed for the Park Plaza Shopping Center. The clock tower is designed to provide a focal point for the center, and will be located well within the existing central walkway system of the shopping center. This will be some 55' north of the existing Markham Street facade of the shopping center. Staff recommends approval. BOARD ACTION: The applicant was present, and there were no objectors. After a brief discussion, the Board moved to approve the application as filed. The motion was passed: 6 ayes, 0 noes and 1 abstention (George Wells abstained).
