No adverse comments have been received from any reviewing
agency, nor have any comments been received from neighbors.
The property is surrounded on all sides by single family
uses, except for the Pulaski Academy to the southeast.
The Suburban Development Plan shows this area for single
family and condominium development, holding the
nonresidential 'uses to the east from Napa Valley Road.
Staff can find no reason for changinq that land use pattern.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends denial.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
The applicant was present and presented a case for approval
of the zoning request and showed the Planning Commission
some graphics that he had prepared for this request. There
were three objectors present: David Hinson, Ruth Hinson and
Pat Rrady, all of whom spoke in opposition to the request.
The objectors decided that Mr_. Droeqe was already parking
equipment and storing materials on the property. The
Chairman of the Planning Commission also introduced a letter
from Jan Nicholson, owner of property to the west, who
stated his objection to the rezoninq request.
