The applicant is seekinq to omit the placement of an opaque screen around his outside storage. This stored material is mostly stacked against the building under a roof overhanq or in some instances in neat piles out in the yard. The applicant's reason for seeking this waiver is his concern for the security of the materials from theft. Given a reasonable harrier to sight of this storage area, thieves could emptv the var.d in a matter of minutes because of the nature of the materials. Staff sees no reason that screening should be in 'Place and recommends approval of the variance requested. Board Action: The applicant was present, and there were no objectors. After a 'brief discussion, the Roard moved to approve the application as Filed. A motion was passed: 5 ayes, 0 noes and 2 absent.
