Water Works indicates that on-site fire protection will be required. Wastewater Utility reports that sewer is available. Arkansas Power and Light Co. will require easements. ARKLA Gas Co. and Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. approved the site plan without comment. The Fire Department approved the submittal without comment. Staff presented the request; Mr. McGetrick, the engineer, reviewed the proposal with the Committee. Staff pointed out the encroachments of the parking spaces into the required minimum landscaping buffer, and Mr. McGetrick indicated that these deficiencies would be remedied. There was no other discussion, and the Committee forwarded the request to the Commission for final resolution. PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: (FEBRUARY 8, 1994) Staff reported that a letter had been received from the applicant, dated January 31, 1994, asking that the request be withdrawn. The request for withdrawal was included in the Consent Agenda, and was approved with the vote of 9 ayes, no nays, one open position, no abstentions, and one open position. 3
