Two of the Commissioners have notified me that they will not be present at the December Vt meeting. We anticipate to still have a quorum at the meeting with 5 Commissioners planning to attend. However, you will need 5 positive votes for your application to pass, which means you would need all 5 votes present. You are welcome to defer your application at the December hearing to the January hearing if you wish due to Commissioner attendance. If you choose to defer for this reason, the City will be responsible for future public notices. Let me know if you have any questions! Looking ahead, I will be sending out the staff report for your item early next week before the holiday. Please remember to provide the certified mail receipts and copy of the public notice with the required information provided to surrounding property owners. Additionally, you will need to post a COA application sign on the property at least 10 days (by Nov 21") before the public hearing date. Since the property is on a corner lot, one sign must be posted on each side to be seen from the street. The signs are furnished by staff and are available at the Planning & Development office at 723 W Markham. I've got two signs ready for you to pick up to the left of the front desk.
