STAFF REPORT: Acadia Markets Corporation is requesting revision of the approved "PCD" to permit the U.S. Postal Service to utilize a portion of the existing parking lot for access and parking. All tenants and licensees of the Whitbeck property, or any part thereof, and their business customers, invitees and employees shall have the right to use, free of charge, the Hillcrest Harvest Foods Store parking area. Acadia agrees to maintain and keep in good repair the existing parking area. In addition to the joint parking spaces mentioned above, Acadia agrees to designate one handicap parking space at a location adjacent to the Whitbeck property. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval as.submitted. 1 December 12, 1989 SUBDIVISION Item No. 9 Continued SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE COMMENTS: (November 30, 1989) The applicant was not present. The Planning staff presented their recommendation. Richard Wood stated that the Hillcrest parking problem should be the next Planning staff project for the City of Little Rock. He also added that at this time the staff is dealing only with the post office and other commercial buildings are not considered. PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: (December 12, 1989) There were no objectors in attendance. The application was represented by Bill Dodge and Frank Whitbeck. After a brief discussion, it was determined appropriate to place this item on the consent agenda for approval. A motion was made and passed by a vote of 11 ayes, 0 noes, 0 absent. N
