3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH RUE HOLDINGS, LLC, AND
5 RIVERFRONT DETAIL IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE
6 HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($140,000.00), FOR CAR
7 WASH SERVICES FOR CITY VEHICLES; AND FOR OTHER
8 PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, held a Public Bid No. 548 and obtained three (3)
11 competitive bids from qualified vendors for Car Wash Services; and,
12 WHEREAS, in Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 15,239 (June 16, 2020), the Board of Directors
13 authorized the first year contract between the City of Little Rock (City) and Riverfront Detail and Rue
14 Holdings,LLC,to provide Car Wash Services for City vehicles currently in the City's fleet;and,
15 WHEREAS,the contract provided the City with the initial term and an option to extend not more than
16 two (2), one (1)-year renewals for an annual budget amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty Thousand
17 Dollars($140,000.00); and,
18 WHEREAS, Fleet Services Department requests authorization to exercise the third and final renewal
19 option to purchase car wash services from Riverfront Detail and Rue Holdings, LLC.
20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into the third and final contract term
23 extension with Riverfront Detail and Rue Holdings, LLC, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty
24 Thousand Dollars($140,000.00),to provide Car Wash Services for use in various vehicles currently in the
25 City's fleet.
26 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in the Fleet Services Parts Account No.600013-63211.
27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
