Staff Recommendation:
This property is presently owned by the City of Little Rock
as surplus property. It is a remnant left over from the
construction of Roosevelt Road. The proposed use is for a
convenience food store and would be developed as shown on
the graphic.
In order to properly take advantage of the site, it is
necessary to put the building near the rear of the property.
There is significant separation between the proposed
structure and any adjacent buildings, and no hardship on any
property owner will result from the applicant's proposal.
Staff recommends approval.
Board Action:
The applicant was present and there were no objectors.
After a brief discussion, the Board moved to approve the
variance as requested. A motion was passed: 5 ayes,
0 noes, 2 absent.
