Present Use of Property: Vacant Proposed Use of Property: Industrial Staff Recommendation: The property in question is heavily impacted by the floodway as can be seen by the enclosed graphic. The proposed structure is 58 feet in depth and if the Zoning Ordinance is literally enforced, the building would be reduced to a depth of 33 feet. The City Board is considering an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to eliminate the existing setback requirement. The staff recommends approval of this variance.
