This property is under the annexation procedure, and the
proposed use is an industrial equipment dealer.

plans for the area and all surrounding lands which are in
the City are presently zoning "I-2" Light Industrial.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval.
COMMISSION ACTION:
The applicant was present, and there were no objectors. After a
brief discussion, the Commission moved to approve the application
as filed. The motion was passed - 8 ayes, 0 noes and 3 absent.
In other action relative to this case, the Commission moved to
pass a resolution recommending a change in the screening
requirements in the "I-2" Light Industrial District in a manner
as to permit vehicles to be displayed for sale within the "I-2"
District as within the "C-4" Open Display District. That motion
passed - 8 ayes, 0 noes and 3 absent.
