Staff Recommendation:
This request for variance was created by the adoption of the
new Zoning Ordinance in January 1980,. Prior to that
adoption, the required side yard for the "C-2" Family
District (now "R-4") was 10 percent of the lot width not to
exceed five feet. The existing structure was a conforming
structure.
The applicant wishes to add to the building using the north
and south side wall alignments previously established.
Staff recommends approval.
