Sir:
No issues, we have you on the calendar and will make sure the room is ready and doors are open. I will have an officer
stay with you to make sure there is access to the building and he/she will lock up when you are finished.

Here is the Chiefs Okay for the meeting we talked about.
This will be a ‘drop-in’ meeting and we will want to set up ‘stations’ where folks can go to and ask a question and or get
information. A station would be a table with a couple of chairs. We will need to have three or four stations set up. Give
me a call and we can talk about this more if you want. Thanks for your help.

Chief Humphrey,
The city is starting the review process for lands outside of Little Rock to the southeast
for Land Use Plan changes and ultimately future zoning of the area. We would like to
use the Police Training facility for one of the public meetings. The meetings would be
conducted as ‘Office Hours’ or drop-in meetings. Staff would be available for
approximately two hours in a location for residents to stop by pickup information
and/or ask questions. Mr. Walter Malone of our staff contacted Major Tyrrell about the
possibility of using the training facility. Major Tyrell said there were no conflicting events
in the evening of the week of May 16 but would have to get approval from the Chief’s
Office. So, we are requesting use of a portion of the Training Facility - Monday May 16
of a meeting from 6 PM to 8 PM. We would need to get in at least 30 minutes prior to
the start for set up.
If you have questions, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Jamie Collins, PE | Director
