The ETJ are lands outside of the city limits, but where the City has land use and subdivision authority granted by the State. The Future Land Use Map is used by the Planning Commission to inform future land use and zoning decisions (see the Future Land Use Map FAQ sheet on the City’s website [www.litterock.gov\ETJ ]). Staff would like to share possible changes and invite comments on the Future Land Use Map prior to proposing a package of changes to the Planning Commission and Little Rock Board of Directors. Exhibits illustrating potential map amendments can be found on the City of Little Rock’s website www.littlerock.gov\ETJ . You can provide comments or offer suggestions on the Future Land Use Plan Map for the ETJ on the link provided on the site. (Or you may mail comments USPS to the City’s address shown above.) Staff has scheduled two public meetings where you can review the Future Land Use Map and possible amendments. Comments may also be left at these meetings. The meetings will be ‘drop-by’ meetings (no formal presentations) where you are welcome to stop-by at your pleasure during the scheduled time. DROP-IN MEETINGS: May 16th (Monday) - 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
