HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd. for LU2022-01 [Page 1 of 7] ORDINANCE NO. ____________ 1 2 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LAND USE PLAN IN 3 THE SOUTHEAST EXTRATERRITORIAL AREA (LU2022-4 01), SOUTH AND EAST OF THE CITY LIMITS WITHIN 5 THE PLANNING BOUNDARY FROM AGRICULTURE (A), 6 RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RL), RESIDENTIAL 7 MEDIUM DENSITY (RM), MIXED USE (MX), 8 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL (NC), COMMERCIAL 9 (C), LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (LI), INDUSTRIAL (I), SERVICE 10 TRADES DISTRICT (STD), MINING (M), PUBLIC 11 INSTITUTIONAL (PI), PARK/OPEN SPACE (PK/OS) TO 12 RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RL), RESIDENTIAL 13 MEDIUM DENSITY (RM), MOBILE HOME PARK (MH), 14 MIXED USE (MX), OFFICE (O), NEIGHBORHOOD 15 COMMERCIAL (NC), LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (LI), 16 INDUSTRIAL (I), MINING (M), PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL 17 (PI), AND PARK/OPEN SPACE (PK/OS), AND FOR OTHER 18 PURPOSES. 19 20 WHEREAS, two public meetings were held within the area to receive 21 comment as well as mailings to property owners; and 22 23 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission has reviewed the Land Use 24 Plan Map and now recommends it for adoption. 25 26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 27 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: 28 29 Section 1. The Land Use Plan Map is amended along and north of Harper Road 30 to show I, Industrial as shown on the attached graphic (South of Port Area 1). 31 [Page 2 of 7] Section 2. The Land Use Plan Map is amended along the west of Frazier Pike, 1 north of Damsite Road from PI. Public Institutional to I, Industrial as shown on the 2 attached graphic (South of Port Area 2). 3 4 Section 3. The Land Use Plan Map is amended east of Frazier Pike side of 5 Damsite Road to show PK/OS, Park/Open Space as shown on the attached graphic 6 (South of Port Area 3). 7 8 Section 4. The Land Use Plan Map is amended along the westside of Dixon 9 Road and south of Highway 365 from RL, Residential Low Density to PK/OS 10 Park/Open Space as shown on the attached graphic (Sweet Home/Higgins Area 1). 11 12 Section 5. The Land Use Plan Map is amended west of Dixon Road and south 13 of Highway 365 from RL, Residential Low Density and PK/OS Park/Open Space to 14 M, Mining as shown on the attached graphic (Sweet Home/Higgins Area 2). 15 16 Section 6. The Land Use Plan Map is amended west of Fiser Road and north 17 of Shamburger Lane from RL, Residential Low Density and PK/OS Park/Open Space 18 to M, Mining as shown on the attached graphic (Sweet Home/Higgins Area 3). 19 20 Section 7. The Land Use Plan Map is amended along the westside of Fiser 21 Road from RL, Residential Low Density to PK/OS Park/Open Space as shown on the 22 attached graphic (Sweet Home/Higgins Area 4). 23 24 Section 8. The Land Use Plan Map is amended either side of Shamburger Lane, 25 south of Shamburger Lane from I, Industrial to M, Mining as shown on the attached 26 graphic (Sweet Home/Higgins Area 5). 27 28 Section 9. The Land Use Plan Map is amended at the northeast corner of 29 Shamburger Lane and Dixon Road from I, Industrial to M, Mining as shown on the 30 attached graphic (Sweet Home/Higgins Area 6). 31 [Page 3 of 7] Section 10. The Land Use Plan Map is amended either side of Daugherty Road, 1 south of Dan Thomas Road from RM, Residential Medium Density to RL, Residential 2 Low Density as shown on the attached graphic (Sweet Home/Higgins Area 7). 3 4 Section 11. The Land Use Plan Map is amended at the west end of Daugherty 5 Road, south of Dan Thomas Road from C, Commercial to RL, Residential Low Density 6 as shown on the attached graphic (Sweet Home/Higgins Area 8). 7 8 Section 12. The Land Use Plan Map is amended either side of Archwood Park 9 Road, west of Arch Street from STD, Service Trades District to M, Mining as shown 10 on the attached graphic (Arch St. to I-530 Area 1). 11 12 Section 13. The Land Use Plan Map is amended between England Acres 13 Subdivision and Brittany Point Subdivision from RL, Residential Low Density to M. 14 Mining as shown on the attached graphic (Arch St. to I-530 Area 2). 15 16 Section 14. The Land Use Plan Map is amended either side of GMQ Drive, 17 west of Dixon Road from LI, Light Industrial to M, Mining as shown on the attached 18 graphic (Arch St. to I-530 Area 4). 19 20 Section 15. The Land Use Plan Map is amended south of MC Incorporated 21 Lane, west of Dixon Road from LI, Light Industrial to I, Industrial as shown on the 22 attached graphic (Arch St. to I-530 Area 5). 23 24 Section 16. The Land Use Plan Map is amended between Woodyard Road and 25 Dixon Road, west of Ironton Road from MX, Mixed Use to MH, Mobile Home Park 26 as shown on the attached graphic (Arch St. to I-530 Area 6). 27 28 Section 17. The Land Use Plan Map is amended south side of Hilaro Springs 25 Road, west of Morton Road Lane from RL, Residential Low Density to NC, 26 Neighborhood Commercial as shown on the attached graphic (West of Arch St. Area 27 3). 28 Section 32. The Land Use Plan Map is amended at the northeast corner of 6 Geyer Springs Road and Geyer Springs Cutoff Road from RL, Residential Low Density 7 to NC, Neighborhood Commercial as shown on the attached graphic (West of Arch St. 8 Area 6). 9 10 Section 35. The Land Use Plan Map is amended on the south side of Sandstone 11 Drive, east of BB Circle from RL, Residential Low Density to PI, Public Institutional 12 as shown on the attached graphic (West of Arch St. Area 7). 13 14 Section 36. The Land Use Plan Map is amended at the northeast corner of 15 Sandy All Drive and Willow Springs Roads from RL, Residential Low Density to NC, 16 Neighborhood Commercial as shown on the attached graphic (West of Arch St. 17 Area 8). 18 19 Section 37. The Land Use Plan Map is amended at the northeast corner of 20 Hilaro Springs and Willow Springs Roads from NC, Neighborhood Commercial to RL, 21 Residential Low Density as shown on the attached graphic (West of Arch St. Area 9). 22 23 Section 38. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, 24 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid 25 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining 26 portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so 27 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 28 ordinance. 29 30 31 [Page 7 of 7] Section 39. Repealer.
