AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LAND USE PLAN IN 3
THE SOUTHEAST EXTRATERRITORIAL AREA (LU2022-4
01), SOUTH AND EAST OF THE CITY LIMITS WITHIN 5
THE PLANNING BOUNDARY FROM AGRICULTURE (A), 6
RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RL), RESIDENTIAL 7
MEDIUM DENSITY (RM), MIXED USE (MX), 8
NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL (NC), COMMERCIAL 9
(C), LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (LI), INDUSTRIAL (I), SERVICE 10
TRADES DISTRICT (STD), MINING (M), PUBLIC 11
INSTITUTIONAL (PI), PARK/OPEN SPACE (PK/OS) TO 12
RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RL), RESIDENTIAL 13
MEDIUM DENSITY (RM), MOBILE HOME PARK (MH), 14
MIXED USE (MX), OFFICE (O), NEIGHBORHOOD 15
COMMERCIAL (NC), LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (LI), 16

PURPOSES. 19

WHEREAS, two public meetings were held within the area to receive 21
comment as well as mailings to property owners; and 22

WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission has reviewed the Land Use 24
Plan Map and now recommends it for adoption. 25

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 27
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: 28

Section 1. The Land Use Plan Map is amended along and north of Harper Road 30
to show I, Industrial as shown on the attached graphic (South of Port Area 1). 31

Section 2. The Land Use Plan Map is amended along the west of Frazier Pike, 1
north of Damsite Road from PI. Public Institutional to I, Industrial as shown on the 2
attached graphic (South of Port Area 2). 3

Section 3. The Land Use Plan Map is amended east of Frazier Pike side of 5
Damsite Road to show PK/OS, Park/Open Space as shown on the attached graphic 6

Section 38. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, 24
sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid 25
or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining 26
portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so 27
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 28
ordinance. 29

Section 39. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same 1
that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the 2
extent of such inconsistency. 3
