HomeMy WebLinkAboutApplicationDESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS As new owners of the property known as the Cherry Hall House located at 610 E. 6th Street, we request a Certificate of Appropriateness for the following improvements: 1) Replace damaged and leaking roof by replacing existing roof with architectural shingles gray in color. 2) Paint existing shutters. 3) Replace missing shutters to match existing shutters. 4) Replace damaged wood and trim on back of house which is not part of the original structure. 5) Replace exterior lighting on back of house. 6) Replace exterior lighting on front porch. 7) Repair porch, railings and stop cracking of columns on front of house. 8) Repair railings on back steps and add hand railing for safety. 9) Replace water line from meter to house due to active leak under the house. 10) Ventilation improvements where necessary to conform with code. 11) Repair and paint trim where needed. 12) Paving of parking in rear (asphalt or concrete) 13) ADA Compliant Wheelchair ramp in rear 14) Sign for Law Firm which meets with the historic districts guidelines.
