HomeMy WebLinkAboutCover LetterMay 17, 2022 LITTLE ROCK BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT 500 WEST MARKHAM ST, 1ST FLOOR LITTLE ROCK AR 72201 I would like to request a zoning variance to move the back yard setback from 8' feet to 5' feet. The house design that was in process during our initial zoning request had the property garage carport and driveway using 17th Street for egress. We didn't feel that this was appropriate due to the higher traffic patterns on 17th street. The revised design now utilizes alley access for the carport and driveway. With this change, we'd like to change the back property setback to 5 feet to accommodate this design change. This aligns with the existing setbacks for the adjacent properties at 1623 Rock Street and 1622 Commerce Street. I own the 1623 Rock Street property, and which is utilized as a long term rental.
