Walter—we got your letter about the Thibaut and Zeuber Roads annexation, and it looks like the road and row was
included? It was initially coordinated with us without the road and row. Assuming it was added, I just asked the original
petitioner to send us the revised legal description so the county will have the correct GIS coordination letter when it gets
to them. And, so when it makes its way back to us, we map it correctly.

Mark,
Did the legal description of this proposed annexation change to include the road and row? If so, can you please send me
the new legal so I can provide you a new GIS coordination letter?

Mark,
Attached is the GIS coordination letter and map that should be included with the filings to the city and county—but
especially for the county during the final (confirmation) order.

The GIS office doesn’t have the authority to verify if a property is “eligible for annexation.” Our main goal is to make sure
everyone is on the same page about the legal description and the shape of the annexation—and to make sure it’s
mapped correctly for all of the programs that use our data.
A couple of notes about the legal description:
It appears there is a directional error in the South Tract survey. See snippet below in red. Although most
mappers would map it correctly because the intent is easy to see, I would suggest making the correction to the
legal before filing.
The Pulaski County Judge may ask that you also annex in all the abutting roads and the ROWs before he signs
the final order. If he does require this, we would ask that you please send us an updated legal description so we
can create a new map for filing and to make sure it gets mapped correctly at the state. I’m 95% sure he has been
kicking back annexations that don’t include the roads.
Let me know if you have any questions—and have a happy holidays!

Jennifer,
Please find attached a pdf copy of the boundary survey and legal description along with a word document of the legal.
Please verify that this property is eligible for annexation into the City of Little Rock.
Thanks,
Mark
