HomeMy WebLinkAbout15790 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,790 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE 4 A CONTRACT WITH ENTERPRISE FM TRUST IN AN AMOUNT NOT 5 TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS 6 (5250,000.00), TO LEASE FORTY-EIGHT (48) VEHICLES FOR THE 7 LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, it is critical that the Little Rock Police Department Special Investigation Division be 10 equipped with reliable forms of vehicular transportation; and, 11 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made through the Arkansas State Contract No. SP-20-001,NASPO 12 Value Point No. 9408 with an expiration date of September 25,2025;and, 13 WHEREAS, the total amount of the lease shall not exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars 14 ($250,000.000 and funding is available in the Special Investigation Division Account No. 105215-65140; 15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a lease contract with Enterprise FM Trust, in 18 an amount not exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars($250,000.000), for the leasing of forty-eight 19 (48)Vehicles on behalf of the Little Rock Police Department for a contract term of one (1)-year with the 20 City's option to renew the contract for two(2),one(1)-year terms;. 21 Section 2. The funding for the leased vehicles is available in the Special Investigation Division 22 Account No. 105215-065140. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 27 resolution. 28 Section 4. Repealer.
