3 A RESOLUTION TO SET SEPTEMBER 20, 2022, AS THE DATE FOR A
4 PUBLIC HEARING TO FORM AND LAY OFF LITTLE ROCK
5 MUNICIPAL PROPERTY OWNERS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.
6 2022-005; (WOODLANDS PARK SUBDIVISION); AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has been provided a petition executed by the owners of a majority in value
10 of the relevant property to form and lay off Little Rock Municipal Property Owners Improvement District
11 No. 2022-005 (Woodlands Park Subdivision); and,
12 WHEREAS, the property associated with Little Rock Municipal Property Owners Improvement
13 District No. 2022-005 (Woodlands Park Subdivision)is more completely described as follows:
14 THE SOUTH 2.2649 ACRES OF TRACT 11, THE WEST 1/2 OF TRACT 13, THE
15 WEST 1/2 OF TRACT 16 AND 2.30 ACRES BEING A PART OF TRACT 10 AND
16 TRACT 14 OF ASBURY ACRES RECREATION DISTRICT, BEING MORE
17 PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE
18 NORTHEAST CORNER OF TRACT 11,ASBURY ACRES RECREATION DISTRICT;
19 THENCE S01°47'37"W, ALONG THE WEST LINE OF TAYLOR PARK
20 RECREATION DISTRICT, A DISTANCE OF 339.09' TO THE POINT OF
21 BEGINNING; THENCE CONTINUING ALONG SAID WEST LINE S01°47'37"W-
22 312.60'; THENCE S01°51'13"W-647.92' TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE
23 WEST HALF OF TRACT 16,ASBURY ACRES, RECREATION DISTRICT; THENCE
24 N87°37'16"W ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID TRACT 16, A DISTANCE OF
25 339.04'; THENCE LEAVING SAID SOUTH LINE N01°49'3 8"E-443.09; THENCE
26 N55°52'34"W-300.59'; TO A POINT ON THE EASTERN RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
27 WOODLANDS TRAIL;THENCE ALONG SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG THE ARC
28 OF A 330' RADIUS CURVE TO THE LEFT, HAVING AN ARC LENGTH OF 153.73'
29 AND CHORD OF N15°04'57"E-152.35; THENCE N01°48'44"E-208.32; THENCE
30 LEAVING SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY S87°56'09"E-219.21'; THENCE S87°48'36"E-
31 339.15' BACK TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. CONTAINING 9.7736 ACRES,
32 MORE OR LESS.
33 WHEREAS,before such action can be taken it is necessary to have a public hearing before the Little
34 Rock Board of Directors.

1 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
2 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
3 Section 1. A public hearing on the question of whether to form and lay off Little Rock Municipal
4 Property Owners Improvement District No. 2022-005 (Woodlands Park Subdivision) shall be held at a
5 meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Centre at University Park, 6401 West
6 12t Street,Little Rock,Arkansas at 6:00 PM on September 20, 2022.
7 Section 2.The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by
8 Arkansas State Law by publication once a week for two (2)consecutive weeks in a newspaper published
9 in Pulaski County,Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
10 Section 3. All persons who request further information about this proposed improvement district may
11 view the documents on file with the City Clerk, 2l Floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham, Little Rock,
12 Arkansas;or,to contact counsel for the proposed district:Peter G.Kumpe,Rose Law Firm, 120 East Fourth

14 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
15 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
16 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
17 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
18 resolution.
19 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
20 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
