3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS IN THE TOTAL
5 AMOUNT OF FIFTY-TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY 100
6 DOLLARS ($52,470.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR
7 THE PURCHASE OF REDACTIVE VIDEO AND AUDIO REDACTION
8 SOFTWARE FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND
9 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department Professional Standards Division requests authorization
12 to purchase Video and Audio Redaction Software; and,
13 WHEREAS,the Redactive Software automatically detects faces, people, vehicles, license plates and
14 small objects to streamlines video redaction while compiling evidence for court,media requests and aids in
15 complying with Freedom of Information requests; and,
16 WHEREAS, the total cost for the purchase shall not exceed Fifty-Two Thousand, Four Hundred
17 Seventy Dollars($52,470.00),plus applicable taxes and fees;and,
18 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made through State Contract OA No. 4600050074, NASPO OK-
19 MA-145-010.
20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions for the
23 purchase of Redactive Video and Audio Redaction Software for a total cost Fifty-Two Thousand, Four
24 Hundred Seventy Dollars($52,470.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
25 Section 2. Funding for this purchase is available from Account No. 105255-061350.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
