9 WHEREAS,the adjacent property owners request to abandon a portion of the twenty-seven
10 wide West 19th Street right-of-way, located between Lot 12, Block 8 and 7, Block 5, Blankenship
11 Addition to the City of Little Rock,Arkansas(G-23-484), immediately north of 1901 Leander Street; and,
12 WHEREAS,the applicant requests the abandonment of approximately 140 linear-feet of the right-of-
13 way, running east from Leander Street; and,
14 WHEREAS,the right-of-way area proposed for abandonment is currently undeveloped; and,
15 WHEREAS,the abandonment of this right-of-way will have no adverse impact on the public welfare
16 and safety; and,
17 WHEREAS, the applicant submitted a letter from an abstract company stating that there are no
18 reversionary clauses attached to the right-of-way requested for abandonment; and,
19 WHEREAS, all of the public utility companies have reviewed and approved the requested right-of-
20 way abandonment; and,
21 WHEREAS,there are no Master Street Plan issues associated with this abandonment request, as the
22 right-of-way is not classified as a collector street or higher.
23 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
24 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
25 Section 1. The City of Little Rock, hereby releases, vacates, and abandons approximately 140 linear-
26 feet of the right-of-way, running east from Leander Street, of the twenty-seven (27)-foot wide West 19th
27 Street right-of-way, located between Lot 12, Block 8 and 7, Block 5, Blankenship Addition to the City of
28 Little Rock,Arkansas(G-23-484), immediately north of 1901 Leander Street.
29 Section 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the Real Estate
30 Records of the Recorder of the Circuit Clerk in Ex-Officio Recorder of Pulaski County,Arkansas.
31 Section 3. Severability. In the event any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, subparagraph,
32 item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
33 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining provisions of this

1 ordinance,as if such invalid or unconstitutional provision was not originally a part of this ordinance.
2 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this
3 ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
