HomeMy WebLinkAbout15746 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,746 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SMART AUTOMOTIVE GROUP, IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND, SEVEN 6 HUNDRED FIFTY-THREE AND 60/100 DOLLARS ($76,753.60), PLUS 7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2), 8 FORD ONE (1)-TON TRUCKS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS 9 DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER 10 PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Street Operations Division has a need to purchase two(2), 13 Ford One(1)-Ton Trucks; and, 14 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made through the utilization of the Arkansas DOT Contract No. 15 H-22-232R; and, 16 WHEREAS, the total cost for the purchase is not to exceed Seventy-Six Thousand, Seven Hundred 17 Fifty-Three and 60/100 Dollars($76,753.60), plus applicable taxes and fees;and, 18 WHEREAS,funds for this purchase are allocated in the Public Works Special Projects Account No. 19 205409-72300-S40B646. 20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 22 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Smart Automotive Group 23 in an amount not to exceed Seventy-Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Fifty-Three and 60/100 Dollars 24 ($76,753.60), plus applicable taxes and fees, for the purchase two (2), Ford One (1)-Ton Trucks for the 25 Public Works Department Street Operations Division. 26 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Public Works Special Projects Account No. 27 205409-72300-S40B646. 28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 32 resolution. 33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 34 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
