To Commissioners of the Little Rock ?City Planning Commission:
Having a Parent with extreme Dementia & Health Problems for 10 years, plus finding out that I myself had
Cancer in 2014, I was unable to keep up with lots of things for a while. The landscapers that were renting the
property started leaving trash on the property and hauling in old dirt with construction debris from jobsites
(things like chunks of concrete from sidewalks, etc). When I realized what was happening, I repeatedly
demanded that they clean up the property, which they promised to do, but never did. Eventually they stopped
paying rent, and I locked the gates and officially terminated their lease. I have been cleaning up the property
since last summer 2021. The grass was head high. An old truck was abandoned on the property. Lots of trash
has been hauled off by Republic Services dumpsters (4 Large Dumpsters — that all were overweight — which has
cost me more than twice as expected). Any other trees, shrubs, etc, has been moved to the far East end of the
acreage to burn at a future date (when safe). The property no longer poses a threat or unsafe condition. Ground
has been scraped. Some gravel has been put in place, and more to come before the Fireworks Tent arrives.
• Entrance Width: 35 ft in front of Office 23924
• Entrance Width: 30 ft beside the Hwy 10 One Stop.
• Ingress & Egress is located on a Highway 10 Straight -a -way. Both entrances are 30 feet wide or more.
Drivers can easily see both directions when entering or exiting the location.
■ About 50 Tires were dumped on the property frontage and road ditches nearby. I collected those tires
and the tires have been disposed of by AR State Hwy Department. They are gone.
• The Trash was dumped by previous Tenant (Cox Landscaping). Four of the largest roll -off dumpsters
have been hauled away since last Fall. Lots of metal has been hauled away, old tractor parts, trailer
parts, old truck, etc. All gone.
• Front Fence will be removed ASAP. I've left it in place for Security — for the rmorment. My plans have
been that it will be removed before the end of May to make way for the Fireworks Tent. I wanted to
leave it for security for the time being, to stop the night scavengers and any future dumping.
■ Plans to have loads of gravel hauled in to "top dress" the lot where the Fireworks Tent will be, and
parking will be.
■ There are still some rocks that will be moved to the back of the property before the Fireworks Tent
arrives. Some trash trees/ shrubs will be removed. They were left in place for security, to stop trucks
from trespassing.
■ I am very concerned about Safety and Security. Not interested in anyone getting injured.
I am asking the LR City Planning to Approve the Fireworks certification to my zoning. This lease revenue will
help me pay expenses, plus produce tax revenue to the City/ State.
