Dear Mr. Moore and Staff,
I am writing to you on behalf of MEO, LLC, whose members are Sonia Schaeferand Christina Basham.
They own Boulevard Bread Bistro and Boulevard Bakery in SoMa. They are supporters of several
neighborhoods in Little Rock, including the Capitol View neighborhood.
Capital View is where both Sonia and Christina reside. They are approximatelyth ree blocks awayfrom
228 Vernon Street, atwo-story brick house that presently is maintained for long term leasing. There is
parking on the street and in the rear yard adjacentto the brick home.
As stated in the application, Sonia and Christina would like to use the back twenty-fivefeet of property
to create a place of convenience fortheiraging parents. The building would be used also, for leasing, like
the two-story home currently leased as a duplex, on the property in the absence of their parents
inhabiting the dwelling.
As part of this PRD application, we are asking for the appropriate variances needed, because the owners
do not live at 228 Vernon Street.
