3 A RESOLUTION TO SET AUGUST 2,2022,AS THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC
4 HEARING TO FORM AND LAY OFF LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL
5 PROPERTY OWNERS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2022-002
6 (GIBRALTER HEIGHTS); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has been provided a petition executed by the owners of a majority in value
9 of the relevant property to form and lay off an Municipal Property Owners Improvement District; and,
10 WHEREAS,before such action can be taken it is necessary to have a public hearing before the Little
11 Rock Board of Directors;
12 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. A public hearing on the question of whether to form and lay off Little Rock Municipal
15 Property Owners Improvement District No. 2022-002, and the property more completely described as
16 follows: Lot 11,Block 9 and Lot 12,Block 10 and Lots 1-8,Block 15,all in Gibralter Heights,Little Rock,
17 Pulaski County,Arkansas, shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in
18 the Centre at University Park, 6401 West 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas at six o'clock on August 2,
19 2022.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
21 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
22 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
23 Section 3. All persons who request further information about this proposed Improvement District may
24 view the documents on file with the City Clerk,Little Rock City Hall,500 West Markham Street,2°d Floor,
25 Little Rock, Arkansas; or, to contact counsel for the proposed District: Mr. G. Robert Hardin, Hardin &
26 Grace,P.A., 500 Main Street, Suite A,North Little Rock,Arkansas, 72114, (501)378-7900.
27 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
