3 A RESOLUTION TO SET AUGUST 2,2022,AS THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC
4 HEARING TO FORM AND LAY OFF LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL
5 PROPERTY OWNERS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2022-003;
6 (PARKLAND HEIGHTS); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has been provided a petition executed by the owners of a majority in value
9 of the relevant property to form and lay off an Municipal Property Owners Improvement District;and,
10 WHEREAS,before such action can be taken it is necessary to have a public hearing before the Little
11 Rock Board of Directors;
12 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. A public hearing on the question of whether to form and lay off Little Rock Municipal
15 Property Owners Improvement District No. 2022-003, and the property more completely described as
16 follows: Tract F-10(Unrecorded): Part of the NE 1/4 of Section 14, T-2-N,R-14-W, Little Rock,Pulaski
17 County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Tract 5,
18 The Ranch, an addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, being also the southwest corner of Parkland
19 Heights, Phase 1A, Little Rock, Arkansas, thence S70°56'11"W, 357.91 feet. to a point on the east right-
20 of-way line of Chenonceau Boulevard;thence northerly along said east right-of-way line the following: 1)
21 N06°12'39"E, 83.55 feet; 2) northerly along the arc of a 542.23-foot radius curve to the right, a chord
22 bearing and distance of N26°22'13"E,373.73 feet; and 3)northeasterly along the arc of a 25.00-foot radius
23 curve to the right, a chord bearing and distance of N73°36'36" E, 18.56 feet to a point on the west line of
24 said Parkland Heights, Phase 1A, thence S11°39'52"E along said west line, 144.93 feet; thence
25 S35°15'15"E continuing along said west line, 201.20 feet to the point of beginning, containing 71,456
26 square-feet, or 1.6404 acres, more or less, shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City
27 of Little Rock in the Centre at University Park, 6401 West 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas at six o'clock
28 on August 2,2022.
29 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
30 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
31 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
32 Section 3. All persons who request further information about this proposed Improvement District may
33 view the documents on file with the City Clerk,Little Rock City Hall,500 West Markham Street,2nd Floor,
34 Little Rock,Arkansas;or,to contact counsel for the proposed District: Mr. H.Bradley Walker,Catlett Law

3 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
4 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
5 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
6 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
7 resolution.
8 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
9 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
