Home My WebLink About15715 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,715 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE 4 A CONTRACT WITH TYMCO, INC.,IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED 5 TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED 6 TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($276,225.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES 7 AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) MODEL 600x 8 REGENERATIVE AIR SWEEPER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS 9 DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER 10 PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Street Operations Division has a need to purchase a Model 13 600x Regenerative Air Sweeper, for an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Seventy-Six Thousand, Two 14 Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars($276,225.00)plus applicable taxes and fees; and, 15 WHEREAS, vendor selection for the Air Sweeper meeting the specifications needed, was made 16 through the Houston Galveston Area Council Contract No. SW04-20. 17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Tymco, Inc., for the purchase 20 of one (1) Model 600x Regenerative, in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Seventy-Six Thousand, 21 Two Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars($276,225.00), plus applicable taxes and fees. 22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Public Works Street Department 2019 23 Equipment Account No. 205409-72200-S40B623, in an amount of One Hundred Forty-Nine Thousand, 24 Seven Hundred Fifty-Eight and 86/100 Dollars ($149,758.86), and the 2021 Equipment Account No. 25 205409-72200-S40B639, in the amount of One Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty-Six 26 and 14/100 Dollars($126,466.14). 27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 31 resolution. 32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
