Home My WebLink About15710 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,710 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH HOPE LAWNCARE, IN AN AMOUNT NOT 5 TO EXCEED SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY - 6 SIX DOLLARS ($76,986.00), FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY MOWING AND 7 TRIMMING, PHASE 3, WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, 8 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS,right-of-way mowing and trimming is needed within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, 11 to maintain public right-of-ways along City streets; and, 12 WHEREAS, the contract mowing for this program will be in three (3) phases to allow for the 13 participation of small contractors. This Phase 3 contract will provide contractor assistance to the Public 14 Works Department with mowing some of right-of-ways along street segments located in Ward 7. 15 WHEREAS, HOPE Lawncare submitted the lowest bid (Bid No. 1663) meeting specifications for 16 the 2022 Right of Way Mowing and Trimming Phase I Program. 17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with HOPE Lawncare, in 20 an amount not to exceed Seventy-Six Thousand,Nine Hundred Eighty-Six Dollars($76,986.00), or Sixty- 21 Four Thousand,One Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars($64,155.00), plus 20%contingency. 22 Section 2. Funding for this contract is available in Account No. 205409-S40B647. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 27 resolution. 28 Section 4.
