3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A MAINTENANCE CONTRACT WITH JANITORIAL DOCTORS,
5 INC., IN A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-EIGHT
6 THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($58,500.00), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION
8 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Parks and Recreation Department has a need for Maintenance Services for thirty(30)
11 Park Facilities;and,
12 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, held a Public Bid No. 1697 to obtain competitive bids
13 from qualified Maintenance Providers for services;and,
14 WHEREAS, after a bidding process, with one (1) bid received, it was determined that Janitorial
15 Doctors,Inc.,would be awarded an annual contract for a one(1)-year contract term with three(3)additional
16 one (1)-year renewals for an annual amount not to exceed Fifty-Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars
17 ($58,500.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Janitorial Doctors, Inc.,
21 for Maintenance Services at thirty(30)Little Rock Parks&Recreation Department Facilities for a one(1)-
22 year contract term and three(3)additional one(1)-year renewals.
23 Section 2. Funds for the Annual Maintenance Services of Fifty-Eight Thousand,Five Hundred /100
24 Dollars($58,500.00), plus applicable taxes and fees, shall be available in the Parks Maintenance Account
25 No. 104523-63211.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
