3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 A CONTRACT WITH HOPE LAWNCARE, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
5 EXCEED SEVENTY-FOUR THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED
6 EIGHTEEEN DOLLARS ($74,718.00), FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY MOWING
7 AND TRIMMING WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, right-of-way mowing and trimming is needed within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
11 to maintain public right-of-ways along City streets; and,
12 WHEREAS, HOPE Lawncare submitted the lowest bid, Bid No. 1662, meeting specifications for the
13 2022 Right-of-Way Mowing and Trimming Phase II Program.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with HOPE Lawncare in
17 an amount not to exceed Seventy-Four Thousand, Seven Hundred Eighteen Dollars ($74,718.00), which
18 is Sixty-Two Thousand,Two Hundred Sixty-Five Dollars($62,265.00), plus a 20%contingency.
19 Section 2. Funding for this contract is available in Account No. 205409-S40B647.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
26 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
