Attached is a copy of the signed COC for your projects. Please upload this to the permit portal when you apply. Be
aware that you cannot continue working on these projects unless you have an approved permit from the City.
The original signed COC, on blue paper, is here at the office and I can either mail it to you or you can come to our office
at 723 W. Markham to pick it up for your records.

Good morning John,
I’ve received your application for the demolition of the ancillary structure and the replacement of rear yard fencing for
1004 Commerce. The rear structure, as you stated, is not historically significant and, for this reason, the demolition
can be a staff level approval. I’ll include the fencing work in the same COC document but need some clarification first.
Thanks for clarifying about the property sketch. I will write up a COC, Certificate of Compliance, and send it to you to
review and then I’ll sign it and send it back. You’ll need to apply for a permit for the demolition and the fencing. Please
include the COC document in your online permit application.
