3 AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON AN UNDEVELOPED 15 -FEET-
4 WIDE WALKWAY EASEMENT /RIGHT -OF -WAY LOCATED
5 BETWEEN BLOCKS 3 AND 4, HOLLYWOOD ADDITION
6 (ADJACENT TO 6700 WAVERLY PLACE), IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
7 ROCK AS A PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY; AND FOR OTHER
8 PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a request was made to abandon an undeveloped 15- feet -wide
11 walkway easement /right -of -way located between Blocks 3 and 4, Hollywood Addition
12 (adjacent to 6700 Waverly Place), pursuant to the City's general police power authority
13 under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104;
14 WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the abandoning of this public right -
15 of -way will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners nor the local
16 traffic, and therefore, the right -of -way abandoned by this ordinance is no longer needed
17 for corporate purposes.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
19 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the
21 undeveloped 15- feet -wide walkway easement /right -of -way located between Blocks 3
22 and 4, Hollywood Addition (adjacent to 6700 Waverly Place), together with the right of
23 public in general, in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
24 Section 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed
25 in the real estate records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex officio recorder of
26 Pulaski County, Arkansas.

I Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
2 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid
3 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
4 portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
5 declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
6 ordinance.
7 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same
8 that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the
9 extent of such inconsistency.
