3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TOWNSHIP BUILDERS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION,THREE HUNDRED FIFTY-
6 TWO THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS
7 ($1,352,244.00), FOR THE RESERVOIR ROAD IMPROVEMENT
8 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS,bids were solicited for Reservoir Road Improvement Project, Bid No. 1650; and,
11 WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
12 specifications.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Township Builders,
16 Inc., for the Reservoir Road Improvement Project Rebid, Bid No. 1650 in an amount not to exceed One
17 Million,Three Hundred Fifty-Two Thousand, Two Hundred Forty-Four Dollars($1,352,244.00),which is
18 the base bid amount of One Million, One Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand, Eight Hundred Seventy Dollars
19 ($1,126,870.00),plus 20%contingencies.
20 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
21 Use Tax Funds and the General Obligation Limited Use Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by
22 Resolution No. 14,803.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with the
29 provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
