HomeMy WebLinkAbout15681 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,681 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JUNE 7, 2022, AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC 4 HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE PORTION OF 5 REICHARDT STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, BETWEEN EAST 8TH STREET 6 AND EAST 9TH STREET, THE PORTION OF FLETCHER STREET 7 RIGHT-OF-WAY, BETWEEN EAST 7TH STREET AND EAST 8TH 8 STREET, AND A PORTION OF THE ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY WITHIN 9 BLOCK 5, MCLEAN'S ADDITION IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, 10 ARKANSAS (G-23-485); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors 13 abandon the portion of Reichardt Street right-of-way between East 8th Street and East 9th Street,the portion 14 of Fletcher Street right-of-way between East 7th Street and East 8th Street, and a portion of the alley right- 15 of-way within Block 5,McLean's Addition. 16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS. 18 Section 1.The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held at 19 a meeting of the Board of Directors that will start at 6:00 PM on the 7"'day of June 2022, at The Centre at 20 University Park,6401 West 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas. 21 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed 22 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski 23 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas. 24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 28 resolution. 29 Section 4. Repealer.
