HomeMy WebLinkAbout15680 RESOLUTION NO. 15,680 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JUNE 7, 2022, AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC 4 HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE SOUTH CEDAR 5 STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY AND ABUTTING STREET AND ALLEY 6 RIGHTS-OF-WAY, LOCATED FROM THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY 7 LINE OF PLATEAU STREET TO THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF 8 WEST 7TH STREET, BETWEEN JACK STEPHENS DRIVE RIGHT-OF- 9 WAY AND UAMS BOULEVARD RIGHT-OF-WAY, IN THE CITY OF 10 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (G-23-483); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors 13 abandon the South Cedar Street right-of-way and abutting street and alley rights-of-way located from the 14 south right-of-way line of Plateau Street to the south right-of-way line of West rh Street, between Jack 15 Stephens Drive right-of-way and UAMS Boulevard right-of-way. 16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS. 18 Section 1.The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held at 19 a meeting of the Board of Directors that will start at 6:00 PM on the Th day of June 2022,at The Centre at 20 University Park, 6401 West 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas. 21 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed 22 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski 23 County,Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. 24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 28 resolution. 29 Section 4. Repealer.
