3 AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 21,594 (JUNE 19, 2018)
4 TO REVOKE A PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TITLED 818
5 WEST CAPITOL SHORT-FORM PCD (Z-9323), AND TO RECLASSIFY
6 PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
7 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,Ordinance No.21,594 was passed on June 19,2018,rezoning the property located at 818
10 West Capitol Avenue from UU,Urban Use District,to PCD,Planned Commercial District,establishing the
11 818 West Capitol Short-Form PCD; and,
12 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock's Planning & Development Department has requested that the
13 PCD be revoked and the prior UU zoning be restored; and,
14 WHEREAS,at its April 14,2022,meeting,the Little Rock Planning Commission by a vote of 10 ayes,
15 0 nays,0 absent and 1 open position,to recommend that the 818 West Capitol Short-Form PCD be revoked
16 and the property reclassified to UU.
17 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
18 ARKANSAS.
19 Section 1. That Ordinance No. 21,594 is hereby repealed, removing from the Official Zoning Map of
20 the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,the classification of PCD, Planned Commercial District,titled 818 West
21 Capitol Short-Form PCD and the UU, Urban Use District, zoning is restored to the property described as
22 818 West Capitol Avenue to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,Arkansas.
23 Section 2. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock,
24 Arkansas,and Designated District Map be and is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary
25 to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
30 ordinance.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. i"'ii
