3 AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON A 10 FEET BY 300 FEET
4 UNDEVELOPED, UNNAMED STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY
5 LOCATED ADJACENT TO 8625 WESTWOOD AVENUE, IN THE
6 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AS A PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY; AND FOR
7 OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a request was made to abandon a 10 feet by 300 feet undeveloped,
10 unnamed street right -of -way located adjacent to 8625 Westwood Avenue, pursuant to
11 the City's general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104;
12 WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the abandoning of this public right -
13 of -way will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners nor the local
14 traffic, and therefore, the right -of -way abandoned by this ordinance is no longer needed
15 for corporate purposes.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
17 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the 10
19 feet by 300 feet undeveloped, unnamed street right -of -way adjacent to 8625 Westwood
20 Avenue, together with the right of public in general, in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
21 County, Arkansas.
22 Section 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed
23 in the real estate records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex officio recorder of
24 Pulaski County, Arkansas.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
26 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid

I or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
2 portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
3 declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
4 ordinance.
5 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same
6 that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the
7 extent of such inconsistency.
