Conditional Use Permit
Mr. Collins:
The Little Maumelle Water Reclamation Facility (LMWRF), is approximately 700 feet south of the
intersection of East Pinnacle and Krone, near the intersection of Chenal Pkwy and Cantrell Rd. This
facility finished construction in 2011 and is an integral component of a Consent Administrative
Order (CAO) with the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). The CAO, in part,
required adherence to the Sierra Club Settlement Agreement, which referenced the above facility.
According to the Pulaski County Assessor's Office and PAgis online data, LMWRF is not in a
subdivision and has no bill of assurance. The Little Maumelle Water Reclamation Facility is not
located in a developed subdivision or group of lots, and therefore is not constrained by the rules
and regulations of such properties.

Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority is recommending that the Conditional Use Permit be
approved, as proposed herein. Having the ability to remove solids by truck will lower the risk of
high -costing operation and maintenance along with premature capital replacement of
infrastructure.
