Dear Mr. Thrower,
Please find attached out submittal to the Little Rock Board of Adjustments requesting a variance
to allow the crossing of the side yard setback at 6 Greathouse Bend Drive.
Our clients are planning to extend the south end of their house in order to enlarge the existing
master suite. Given our client's limited physical mobility, this addition will allow for increased
accessibility and ease of use of their master suite. The current side yard setbacks for their lot
are set to the maximum possible distance of eight feet, and the addition will still allow for a 5'-3"
setback from the south property line.
Our goal is to provide an addition which will accommodate our client's physical limitations while
remaining an adequate distance from the south property line, and we therefore feel this is a
reasonable request.

RE: Winans Residence Variance Request
6 Greathouse Bend Drive

Dear Mr. Thrower,
I am the owner of 8 Greathouse Bend Drive, which is the lot directly south of the Winans
Residence at 6 Greathouse Bend Drive.
I have spoken with Anne Winans and am aware of their plans to build a new addition to their
master suite near my north property line. I am writing to let you know that I support this
improvement to the Winans property.
