Subject:Land Use Plan amendment in your area
The City has received an application for a an amendment to the Future Land Use Map southwest of
the Citizens of West Pulaski County NA - we are providing notice of the application, as you are listed
as the Neighborhood Association contact.
LU2022-18-02 is a Future Land Use Map amendment requested on a 12 acre site in the Ellis
Mountain Planning District. The applicant is requesting the land use designation be changed from
Residential Low Density (RL) to Mining (M).
The subject site is located north of 15520 Lawson Road
On March 10 , 2022 the Planning Commission will consider the applicant’s request to amend the land
use plan from Residential Low Density (RL) to Mining (M).
Mayor Frank Scott, Jr., announced today that, due to the sudden, steep rise in COVID infections
reported in Little Rock and across Arkansas, all meetings of City boards and commissi ons will be held
virtually until further notice.
The Planning Commission hearing will be held on-line via the Webex platform. The meeting will begin
at 4:00 PM.
If you wish to attend the meeting virtually, we will provide you with the WebEx meeting link, you will
need to email lrzoning@littleorck.gov no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting and provide: (a)
email address and (b) telephone number suitable for texting. Staff will send a link to the Planning
Commission meeting to the address you provide.
