3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK. ORDINANCE NO.
4 21,993 (MAY 18, 2021), TO AUTHORIZE AN INCREASE TO THE
5 SERVICE AGREEMNT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., TO
6 INCLUDE FEES FOR THE UPGRADE OF THE EXTENSION OF THE
7 SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., FOR
8 THE CITY'S RADIO INFRASTRUCTURE EQUIPMENT UTILIZED BY
9 THE COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21, 993 (May 18, 2021) modified Little Rock, Ark.,
12 Ordinance No. 21, 984 (April 20, 2021) and Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21, 729 (May 21, 2019);
13 and,
14 WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21, 729 (May 21, 2019) provided for the award of a
15 Sole-Source Service Agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc., in the amount of One Hundred Forty-Two
16 Thousand, One Hundred Thirty-Nine and 05/100 Dollars ($142,139.05), including applicable taxes and
17 fees,for a twelve(12)-month Maintenance Plan for the City's Network Infrastructure System; and,
18 WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21, 984 (April 20, 2021) amended Little Rock, Ark.,
19 Ordinance No. 21, 729 (May 21, 2019)to authorize an increase to the Service Agreement with Motorola
20 Solutions, Inc., in the amount of One Hundred Fifty-One Thousand, Five Hundred Thirteen and 28/100
21 Dollars ($153,513.28). This Amended Ordinance approved the term of the Service Agreement from
22 January 1, 2021,to December 31, 2021; and,
23 WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21, 993 (May 18, 2021) amended Little Rock, Ark.,
24 Ordinance No. 21, 984 (April 20, 2021)to authorize an increase to the Service Agreement with Motorola
25 Solutions, Inc., in the amount of One Hundred Sixty Thousand, Seven Hundred Seventy-Eight and
26 28/100 Dollars ($160,778.28). This Amended Ordinance approved the term of the Service Agreement
27 from January 1,2021,to December 31, 2021; and,
28 WHEREAS,the initial term of the Service Agreement expired on December 31,2021;and,
29 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has determined that it would be in the City's best interest to
30 upgrade the Service Agreement Package and extend the Service Agreement; and,
31 WHEREAS, the new term of the Service Agreement began on January I, 2022, and will expire on
32 December 31, 2022; and,
33 WHEREAS,the total cost of the January 1, 2022, Service Agreement shall increase to the amount of

1 One Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand,Two Hundred Thirty-Five and 29/100 Dollars($199,235.29).
2 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
3 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
4 Section 1. Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21, 993 (May 18, 2021) is hereby amended to authorize
5 the City Manager to amend and extend the Service Agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc., to increase
6 the contract amount to One Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand, Two Hundred Thirty-Five and 29/100
7 Dollars($199,235.29)beginning from January 1,2022,to December 31,2022.
8 Section 2. Funds for the specific agreement authorized by this amended ordinance are available in
9 the City's 911 Fund,Account No. 220511
10 Section 3. Severability. In the event any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, subparagraph,
11 item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
12 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining provisions of this
13 ordinance, as if such invalid or unconstitutional provision was not originally a part of this ordinance.
14 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this
15 ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
