HomeMy WebLinkAbout15666 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,666 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND, SIX 6 HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR AND 48/100 DOLLARS ($201,624.48), PLUS 7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 8 HEIL PT1000 THIRTEEN(13)-YARD REAR-LOADER FOR THE PUBLIC 9 WORKS DEPARTMENT SOLID WASTE DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER 10 PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division has a need to purchase one(1)Heil 13 PT1000 Thirteen(13)-Yard Rear-Loader to replace Unit 21F399 that was totaled in December 2021; and, 14 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through the utilization of the Sourcewell Contract No. 15 091219-THC; and, 16 WHEREAS, the total cost for the purchase is Two Hundred One Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty- 17 Four and 48/100 Dollars($201,624.48), plus applicable taxes and fees. 18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with River City Hydraulics, 21 Inc., in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred One Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty-Four and 48/100 22 Dollars ($201,624.48), plus applicable taxes and fees, for the purchase of one (1) Heil PT1000 Thirteen 23 (13)-Yard Rear-Loader to be used by the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division. 24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Public Works-Solid Waste Account No. 25 603110-72300. 26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 30 resolution. 31 Section 4. Repealer.
